MS PTFE lined pipe is an internally lined mild steel (MS) pipe with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), a high-performance fluoropolymer that is strongly resistant to chemicals and non-stick in character. The lining protects the steel from corrosive chemicals, and the pipe is therefore suitable for conveying aggressive acids, bases, and solvents in chemical processing, pharmaceutical, and food processing industries. PTFE lining creates a smooth, inert surface, while MS outer shell adds mechanical strength. Both combined offer durability, safety, and long lifespan in abusive conditions where regular metal or plastic pipe would reduce their lifespan immediately.
